After complaining about the unseasonably wet weather we are once more basking in +30ºC heat most days (could you make that "working"? Thanks - Martin). If you want to get anything done get up early and get it over and done with before 11am at the latest, after that find your shade and relax. We hope to have the village pool open within the next week and that will bring welcome relief as its always a little cooler by the water.

The whole pool area has been spruced up this year and links nicely to the new BBQ area which we hope will see some use this season and work continues a pace on the village entrance with space being cleared to re-instate the children's play park.

We've had a quiet couple of months walk wise with both the weather and other work commitments getting in the way, after August we will look at developing some more further afield walk networks so that we can offer our services to other holidaymaker's in the region not just the lucky few who make it to Cóbdar!
